Horrid

For an ambient piece or a noise piece, the music you know.... has to..... have sound.

You know that right?

You can be pretentious but it has to qualify as music.

I wasn't going for ambient. It's a solo Instrument, like it says. It's the wind.

Joke rap albums almost always fall flat on their face. This isn't really an exception in a lot of fronts. The rap voices of almost everyone here are clearly white men who aren't taking it seriously, which not taking it seriously isn't an issue, but it makes the vocals pretty painful to listen to. The production mostly mocks horrorcore/trap/soundcloud rap production acts like Freddie Dredd and Lil Darkie; a shallow concept like that can only go so far before the novelty wears off. And 55 minutes definitely is a lot further than I'd like. Luckily, there are some cool instrumentals on here, like "chris ghostwrites me a song", etc.

Overall, this was essentially a bunch of boring uninteresting filler with some standout tracks. The standout tracks bump it to a 6.

Woah this was really good. The main synth can feel a little grating at times but I like the chiptune arpeggios and anything with breakbeat/breakcore influence is a plus. Nice track!

I like how the synths feel at the drop, but that woodblock-y sound panned in the left ear is pretty annoying. The break in between the first and second half was pretty bad too. The synths feel pretty samey and kinda like presets (which isnt inherently bad as long as you do interesting mixing). I didn't really enjoy this but there definitely were enjoyable aspects.
